I have been supervising interns for over 6 years, and I began by supervising clinical staff prior to that. I believe an intern should select their supervisor(s) carefully, based on their clinical history and expertise as well as personality. Finding a good working relationship which will support learning and growth is equally important to the base of knowledge a supervisor must possess in order to foster a therapist through the internship phase.

Because many interns are struggling with agency wages and school loans I don't charge my full clinical fee for supervision.    My supervision fee for a 50-minute supervision is $85.00.
